Rat Terrier - Small - Adult - Male - Dog - Tie-Dye (IN)
Description
This dog is in a fosterhome in: Waynetown, Indiana Tie-Dye is a unique little Rattie! He is 2-1/2 years old, weighing just around 12 pounds. Tie-Dye loves kids, and would love to have a child (age 7 or older) to play with. He also likes the company of other dogs, but is quite the ladies' man, preferring the company of female dogs to male dogs. Tie-Dye is a resilient guy, after having quite a rough start in life. At six months old, he was run over by a car, leaving his back legs paralyzed. He has adapted very well, and doesn't let his disability slow him down. He is able to pull himself up on his rear legs to relieve himself, but otherwise he uses his strong front legs to pull himself around. He loves to "run" and play fetch, but at the same time loves to snuggle with his people. He will soon be the recipient of his very own wheelchair, and he is very excited to start training in it! (Follow Tie-Dye's progress in his wheelchair by clicking here.) Tie-Dye would do best in a single story home, where he doesn't have to worry about the obstacle of stairs, with plenty of uncarpeted areas. He also would prefer not to have to live with cats. Are you the family with the love and patience to appreciate the amazing dog that Tie-Dye is? Our adoption fee is $150 for adult dogs or $200 for puppies younger than 6 months. Interested in adoption?
