Pointer - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog - Have Kitties?

This list was last updated on 10/18/09. If you have cats and are looking for a kitty friendly Pointer, we have many that are awesome with cats. All of these cats have been in foster care with cats already, so we are very comfortable placing them in a home with kitties. Dogs that would be good with any cats include (in alphabetical order) that have been in foster homes with cats: Abby, Calvin, and Lovey. Dogs that passed our cat test but have not been in foster homes with cats: Hobbes and Lady. We also sometimes have dogs that are good with cats, but like to play with them... so they would be good for dog-savvy cats (but not a cat that is scared of dogs, would run, etc). This group of dogs include: (None at this time) Dogs that have not been cat tested yet that we are happy to cat test: Bruno, Donny, and Marie. Dogs that CANNOT go to a home with cats (but are great dogs): Bullwinkle (he likes cats but wants to play with them, and may unintentionally hurt one) All of these dogs are up at www.pointers.petfinder.com if you want to check them out.
