Miniature Horse - Small - Adult - Female - Horse - Millie
Millie is a tri colored pinto miniature horse. She is VERY sweet. Rescued from an auction where full grown men jumped on her back to prove she was broke to ride. This poor little girl could not take the 200 pounds of the men and stumbled around almost falling over in the tiny show area of the auction sale barn. We bought her and took her to the safety of our rescue. Millie walks on the insides of her hind feet and it almost looks as if she is marching in the hind end. Our vet and farrier both feel she was born with this deformity and it doesn't cause her any pain or problems but she should not be ridden. She can run (very fast) with the rest of the horses in the pasture. She lives in a pasture with other full size horses and a donkey. She was very overweight when we got her and has lost some, but needs to eat very little. No grain is needed for her up keep. She can have pasture during the sumer and a little hay in the winter and that is all she needs. Millie is to be adopted as a companion horse only (no riding or driving) for another mini , a pony or a full size horse. She is good for the farrier and is OK to live outside 24-7 with a shelter. Please fill out the adoption form at www.brokenroadrescue.com or email us at brokenroadrescue@aol.com for more information on this little cutie. Her adoption fee is $300 but is negotiable to the right home.
