Donkey/Mule - Medium - Adult - Male - Horse - Stan and Ollie
Description
Stan and Ollie are two standard Bureau of Land Management donkeys that originally came from the wilds of Arizona in 1997. They were adopted in 1998 and have been together ever since. They are now about 22 to 25 years old. Their owner could no longer keep them, but wanted to make sure they would be kept together and that they would go to a good home, so they contacted us to take them into the rescue. They have been used as guardian animals for cattle. Ollie is a beautiful gray dun that is very friendly with people. Stan is a gray roan with an unusual lopped ear. Stan is a little leary around people, but we think by showering him with lots of attention and a few ginger snap treats, he will come around. If you are interested in finding out more on Stan and Ollie, please contact Fran at 989-426-7942, after 7pm please.
